Step 1. Pick which slide you want to put on the microscope.

Step 2. Put the slide under the hooks.

Step 3. Pick the level of magnification you want to see the specimen under; 100x is the lowest level, 600x is in the middle, and 1200x is the highest level.

Step 4. Turn the knobs on the side of the microscope to focus on the specimen.

Step 5. When done, put the slide back in the slide box.

This method is only for some microscopes. It doesn’t apply to all microscopes.
